Re-suspension of iron ore dust presents a constant hazard in the working environment within steel production plants. Herein, optimal operating parameters for maximum suppression efficiencies through water mist generator and conventional sprinkler particulate matter (PM) originating from an pile measuring about 2 m height with stacking angle 30° are investigated. The effects including wind velocity, spray angle, mode supply on evaluated.
